As the GOP candidates head into an all-important debate before the Iowa caucuses, Governor Mike Huckabee is holding onto his massive surge in Iowa according to a new Rasmussen poll out of Iowa. His lead is double-digits over Romney and the rest of the field:
39% Mike Huckabee
23% Mitt Romney
8% Rudy Giuliani
8% Fred Thompson
Huckabee has done very well in GOP debates up to this point, and tonight's debate will be a very important test for him as he seeks to hold his momentum. To be sure, he will have a bullseye on his back tonight as the rest of the field seeks to blunt his momentum.
